Back To School

Ok, so yes I know it is November and school started two months ago, but hey, it's been a busy two months!

Even though we had an amazing summer, the kids were very excited for school to start. The day before we went and got "Back to School Blizzards".

We were ready the night before. We had braided Megan's hair to make it wavy, picked out clothes, etc.

Atwood (age 5, Kindergarten), Megan (age 7 1/2, 2nd grade), Kendall (age 2 1/2, preschool), and Dilan (age 9, 4th grade).

This year Megan's teacher is Mrs. Hutcheson. She is the perfect fit for Megan. She is a younger teacher and has 2 little girls.

Atwood has Ms. Smith. Ms. Smith was also Dilan's Kindergarten teacher and we loved her.

On a side note, this is Dilan on his first day of Kindergarten back in 2005. Notice anything? Atwood ended up wearing the same exact outfit on the first day of school that Dilan did five years ago!

Dilan has Ms. Fernandez as his teacher. She looked so familiar to me and I then we figured out that she graduated one year behind me from Auburn High. Shewas in the same grade as my sister Robyn. Ms. Fernandez is the perfect teacher for Dilan.

At the last minute, we decided to put Atwood in full-day Kindergarten and it was the best decision we have made for him. He had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to a new class where he knew nobody. It didn't take him much time at all to make all sorts of friends. He absolutely LOVES school now and has so much fun with all of his buddies.

Dilan adjusts so well in his classes each year. He is such a great example to all his friends. Ms. Fernandez said he is very responsible and really wants to help others. Way to go you big stud!

Megan is little Ms. Social...only when appropriate of course. The first day they got to pick where they wanted to sit. Megan stacked her table. She and Grace were so excited to sit by each other. These two are the greatest friends. Then, Megan had Riley come sit by Grace and she grabbed Mason's name tag so he could sit with them. She has had a great year so far and is doing an amazing job in school.

This was Kendall's official first day of school picture. Seriously, can she be any cuter? I really don't think so.
