Merry Christmas!

Aaron snuck downstairs before the kids to take a picture. I love our Christmas mornings. They are so simple and fun.

Santa brought Megan a dollhouse for her Barbies. Kendall is showing off Atwood's new movie.
Santa brought Dilan lazer tag which has been a blast.
Santa brought Kendall a babydoll set complete with stroller, cradle, and carrier.
Santa brought Atwood a new game for the Wii.
Kendall was on paper patrol all morning and did a fabulous job.
Santa also brought another family gift this year of Wii fit. We have all had so much fun with this game.
Atwood got a Leapster.
Megan got her scooter...pink of course!
Dilan always gets excited about video game stuff!
I love my new frame...Thanks Aaron!
This is what Megan wrapped up for me and Aaron. She is so sweet.
Megan and her new guitar...again PINK!
We gave Dilan this bladestar thing that ended up not working so we had to take it back. Because Grandpa and Grandma Kilstrom had got him an Air Hog helicopter, he decided to get something different all together. He decided to get a Didj. It is made by Leapster, but for older kids. He assures me that it is not video games because he has to do Math and Spelling too while playing it.
Kendall sporting her new Dora pajamas.
We had a great day just being together at home...and of course watching the snow fall outside.

Christmas with the Lewis family...

Every year on Christmas Eve, we go to Aaron's Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Bill's house. This year was no exception even with the snow. Kendall was being so cute with Dilan in the car on the way up there. She kept wrapping her right arm around his head and just hugging him (of course she would quit every time I brought out the camera).

After present opening and before everyone headed back home, we tried to snap a few pictures with all the cousins, all of the cousins that were there anyway.
We missed a couple the first time around. Sadly, we are still missing at least 8 cousins in this picture.

We love being able to get together with Aaron's whole family each year. It is hard to see them all more often when they live out of states or on the other side of the mountains. The kids always have so much fun and Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Bill are so generous for having this party at their house each year.
Because the housing development is new that Marilyn and Bill live in, the roads had definitely not been plowed. Uncle Bill was shuttling people to and from cars because they live on a pretty good hill and they didn't want people to get stuck. We parked at the top of the hill, but instead of waiting for Uncle Bill's shuttle, we told the kids we were going on a snow hike. At one point, we had to go off the car tracks and the snow was up to Atwood's waist. It was pretty funny. We had a great time though and lots of fun memories. That's what Christmas is about right?

So much snow!

It's not often we get a ton of Snow in Seattle. (Yes, this is considered a lot, even though it is not very much). Anyway, it was so beautiful and it actually snowed a bit on Christmas Day too. I would love it if it snowed like this all winter long. I know not everyone loves it, but I sure do!

Christmas with the Kilstrom family...

We had a great Christmas celebration with the Kilstrom side of the family. Derek and Heather hosted this year for the family and of course Heather prepared a fabulous dinner. At dinner, Uncle Derek told the kids to look under their chairs because he had put two "winners" on the bottom of some chairs and the two winners got a prize after everyone was done eating. Here he is with his cousin Brevin (the other winner). Atwood was so excited that he actually won. You can't see his face in this picture, but I think he was almost more excited about winning at dinner than he was to open his present from his cousin Cole (not really, but he was very excited!)

Lots of anxious kids waiting to open presents!
And cute anxious girls...
Here is Megan sporting her new scarf (a birthday present from Aunt Boni's family) and holding her new porcelain doll that all of the girls got from Grandpa and Grandma Kilstrom.
Cole gave Atwood a new Lego set. Atwood wants to have Lego City in his bedroom so this was perfect. He is not really shoving it up his nose, it just looks that way in the picture!
Grandpa got a new ball that you roll around to make ice cream so the kids took turns rolling it around. The ice cream actually turned out really good and was very yummy.
Here is Aunt Robyn with Kendall. Aunt Robyn becomes Kendall's pal whenever we are together.
And Merry Christmas to all from Grandpa Kilstrom!

It's so fun to have family so close all year round, but especially at Christmas. Thanks for a fun Christmas party Derek and Heather.
