Parenthood is a balancing act

Ok, so it's Kendall that is the balancing act in this case.

Ballerina girl!

Today was picture day at Megan's ballet class. All of the girls look so cute together. They are doing their routine to the song Sugar, Sugar ("Sugar, oh Honey, Honey.... you are my candy girl and you got me wanting you...)
Anyway, they are so cute performing together. Megan loved getting dressed up and she loved wearing a little makeup too!

Hooray for Dilan!

He did it! Dilan was so excited to take off his training wheels. He has been a little nervous about riding without them, but was so brave this last week. He asked me to take them off for him (and then wanted to know if I knew how to use Dad's tools). So we took them off and off he went. Now, he is a riding maniac. He is so excited to show everyone that he can ride without training wheels. You are a stud Dilan!

Friends, Friends, Friends

My kids love their friends. The great thing about living in a neighborhood is that they have had instant friends with the kids in our cul-de-sac. The girls are always playing dress up, princess, tea party, coloring, and whatever else their imaginations can come up with. Of course, the boys like to be outside most of the time riding bikes, skateboards, or jumping on the trampoline at the neighbor's house.

Everybody loves a blue eyed girl~

In my case, I got TWO blue eyed girls. Those recessive genes on both sides of the family came through for us on this one. We think they are so cute...

Early birds...

Atwood and Kendall are our early birds. Kendall gets so excited when Atwood comes down that she just starts shaking as soon as she sees him. They lay together on the ground and Atwood tells her all sorts of stories.

Feeding time!

Can you believe it? It is time for solids all ready. By the look on her face, you can tell that she loves her cereal.

Spring is here

Now that spring is here and it hasn't been raining quite so much, the kids are always wanting to be outside in the backyard, park, front yard riding bikes, wherever as long as they are outside!

XBOX for everyone

Our kids, like most kids, love video games. Megan and Atwood try to play every once in a while and Dilan is so patient trying to teach them how.

What a smile...

Kendall just keeps growing. We think she is absolutely adorable and her brothers and sister are ALWAYS around her trying to make her laugh!

Underwear excitement

Atwood was very excited to get some new underwear. Of course when he puts them on in the morning, he has to come and model which pair he has picked out for the day.

He's a big kid now!!!

It was potty training time again...Luckily for us, Atwood was the easiest one so far. We had tried one day and he had accidents all day long. I decided that it was just not the right time and he said he wanted his diaper back so we figured forget it, we will wait a while longer. Well, about one week later he said he wanted underwear so we decided to try again. I didn't think a week would make a difference, but for whatever reason, he put on his underwear and that was it. He would run in, sit on his royal potty and call us when he was done. He is very excited to be a big boy now.
