More fun at the farm

This past Saturday, we met up with the Whites at Maris Farm. Our kids have so much fun together. It was a beautiful warm and sunny day to be at the pumpkin patch. The kids had a blast.

Aaron and Skyler led us through the corn maze. The girls were so funny. They wanted to both hold my hands, but they would not let go of each other's hands either. So, to keep from being in a circle, I just walked behind them.
Here we are all coming down from the lookout point in the corn maze.
I think Dilan was more excited to be there with Hunter and Cooper than he was to actually be at the pumpkin patch.
Here I am with Dallis. She was my little buddy at the farm that day.
We had a great time with the Whites...We always do! We came back to our place, had lunch and visited for a bit before they had to get Sklyer back to get ready for his game that night. We joke around that it's probably a good thing we don't live closer to each other because Deanna and I would never get anything done. It's not often you find such great friends. We happen to be the fortunate ones that did. Love you guys!

Atwood's Field Trip

Atwood has been so excited to have HIS first official field trip. He has gone on a couple others with his big brother and sister, but this time, it was all about him. We went to Maris Farm. It is a pumpkin patch out in Buckley. This is much more than just a pumpkin patch though. We went on a hayride, through a corn maze, picked out a pumpkin, saw the goats, bunnies, kittens, pigs, fed the baby cows, rode in a cow train, rode little tractors. It was a fun-filled day for sure!

Me and my girls!

My girls love having their picture taken. We laid on the couch forever taking pictures. We would snap a pic and then of course the girls would want to look at it. Who knew a camera would be so much fun!

Daddy's little girl...

Kendall is so cute with Aaron. When he gets home from work, she runs to him for her big hug and kiss. This particular morning she wanted to play ring a round the rosie. So they played and played and played some more.
Then he got a phone call, but that didn't stop her. She brought her little laptop right over to dad. The thing with Kendall is that she can't just sit or lay next to you. She has to be under your arm. I guess she likes that close feeling. It is pretty cute though.

Picture day...

It was picture day at school and so we were practicing our smiles before we had to leave for the bus. Megan of course was all about the pictures. She loves to pose for the camera. Dilan was not so willing.
Finally I told him he wouldn't play XBOX or Wii for a week if he didn't smile and this is what I got.
Atwood wanted his shot too. He is off centered because he wanted the picture of himself, not with Kendall and she would not move from right on his right side.

Happy Birthday to me!

Megan made me this wonderful paper necklace and bracelet. It got a little wrinkled because I was wearing it all day, so I took a picture so I could always remember how cute they were. She is still drawing me birthday pictures even three weeks later!
So this year was my 31st birthday. I don't feel 31 at all. I think I am still 18. In fact, when I go to the high school football games, I feel like I should be out there with the cheerleaders like old times. But, as much as I would like to be younger, that is not going to happen. So, 31 it is. My birthday was on a Sunday this year. It was a general conference Sunday so I really got to relax. Aaron was just getting off work and I was still in bed. The kids were all awake, but Dilan is so good, he just turns on TV or something to keep them occupied. Anyway, pretty soon, it is 8:30 or something (I NEVER sleep in that late). Aaron and the kids come up to the bedroom, carrying my birthday cake, balloons, cards, and singing Happy Birthday to me. It was so great.
Aaron thinks he is so sneaky. The Friday before my birthday, I had a work meeting so he was home with just Atwood and Kendall. I got home from the meeting and the dishes were done and candle was lit. This was so great, but Aaron does this all the time so I didn't think anything of it. Come to find out, they had gone to the store to buy a cake mix, frosting, candles, and balloons (which they hid under the stairs) and made my birthday cake while I was at the meeting. He lit the candle to cover up the cake smell in the house. He is so great!
I got to celebrate Friday night with some of our best friends...the Whites, Alfreys, and Bankers before Skyler's football game. It was a great birthday with family and friends.

Sweet Kendall!

I am sure we have more pictures of Kendall just because she is home with us more during the day than the other three. That and the fact that she is so cute. She really has a cute sense of humor. That being said, she might be the one that is my biggest trial at this age. I don't remember my other three kids giving me such a bad time at age almost 2 as Kendall does. She is just a lot more stubborn than the others were. That definitely comes from her father!
Go Spider-Girl
I love that smile...

She even looks adorable with messy hair. The kids call that her faux hawk!

Potty excitement...

So my sister's daughter Brooklyn is six weeks older than Kendall so she just turned 2 in September. Brooklyn started going potty in the toilet very early. Kendall has watched Brooklyn go a few times and she of course sees her big sister and brothers too. Anyway, she kept saying potty and so we sat her up there. I really don't think she is ready, but she loves to sit on her Dora seat. She now tells us whenever she goes in her diaper and grabs another diaper so we can change her. We are getting closer I am sure, but not quite there (or maybe I am just not ready for the potty training headache). Hopefully she will be like her big sister and it will be easy!

She is so proud, trying to act so cool.

Our girly girl...

So, this last summer Megan got her ears pierced. It had been the six weeks and she wanted to change out her earrings. We went in the bathroom and were changing her earrings and Kendall came in. She kept grabbing her ears saying "I'ont ears" (interpretation: I want ears). Aaron asked her if she wanted earrings and she said yes. We figured what the heck and took her to the mall. We got there, picked out some earrings, and snap, it was done. She cried for maybe 20 seconds or so until they brought out the suckers (that would explain her clean dress). Every time she would look in a mirror, she would say "I pitty" (interpretation: I pretty). Who would have known I would be so lucky to have two very girly girls!
