My first pony!

Ok, so not a real pony, just a ponytail. I have been waiting and waiting for Kendall to have enough hair to put some sort of a ponytail in. I know it's a stretch, but we managed to put a cute little "palm tree" on the top of her head. She didn't necessarily like sitting still while I put it in, but she left it alone for the most part.

Make Believe!

I love that Megan totally still plays make believe. I hope she does for a long time. One day, she told me that she was going to play Princess Monopoly with her dolls. I went to put something in her room later and it was so cute I had to snap a picture.

Does the drooling ever stop?

I swear our kids start drooling the minute they are born and they don't stop EVER. Ok, so eventually they do stop, but it feels like it takes forever.

Chocolate Chip cookie anyone? She thought maybe the chocolate would disguise the drool on her shirt...I'm thinking she might be wrong.

She sure is cute though.

It's bad enough to have the front of your shirt wet from drool, but to have it sneak around the shoulder is pretty darn bad. Obviously, it was close to bedtime so there was not point in putting on a fresh shirt.

This picture was taken about 2 minutes after I got Kendall in her jammies. She is already sportin' a nice little wet spot on her shirt.

Video Game Junkies...

I tell my boys all the time that they could easily become video game junkies and do nothing but play video games. Unfortunately for them, their parents won't let them just sit and play all day long. However, they do get plenty of playing time between the Wii and XBOX 360.

In the pictures, check out the tongue thing (you can even see the tongue in the shadow behind them on the wall). It is definitely a concentration habit that they have both inherited from Grandpa Kilstrom and Grandpa Lewis. Aaron always reminds them to stick their tongues back in their mouths so they don't accidentally bite them off!

Snowy days...

Ok so the snow we see here in Washington is NOTHING like the snow my brother's family has had in Utah. I was so jealous when I saw their pictures.

Anyway, we are grateful for the snow we do get. I wish it snowed more, but Aaron says that is because I don't have to drive a fire engine in the snow. I guess he does have a point there...I don't have to go anywhere in the snow!

The kids had a great time playing in it. Because it doesn't snow much, we do not feel the need to purchase snow clothes for the kids each year. We just like to layer PJ's underneath other clothes. It totally works for us and they stay plenty warm.

Megan, Megan, Megan

Megan is the greatest. We have our moments and I joke about how it is possible that a 6-year-old can be so emotional about different things (deciding which shoes to wear, getting upset about having to change clothes if the outfit she chooses does not match well, having to wear tights that itch her legs with her church dress...I think you get the point).

Anyway despite these little situations that make mom crazy, she is such a great girl with such a big heart. She is constantly drawing pictures and making cards that say how much she loves her mom and dad. She is always thinking of her friends and wants to make cards for them. She is such a great little artist and is always bound to be coloring or writing letters at her desk.

She is also the best big sister ever. Kendall lights up when she sees Megan. They love to wrestle, play piano, read, and whatever else they can figure out. It is really cute to watch our two girls together!

Megan was very excited that Kendall was just letting her rock her for a bit.
