So, we have had our fair share of "favorite movies" around here. I never thought that a "favorite movie" could turn into a 2-year-old's crush. Yes, Kendall's got it bad for Troy Bolton from High School Musical.
We got High School Musical 3 and seriously watched it 100 times. Well, daddy thought it was time to mix it up a bit so we had a family movie night and watched High School Musical 2. She loved this one just as much as HSM 3. Kendall wakes up every morning saying "I 'ont High 2" (I want HSM 2). After Dilan and Megan get off to school, we put on the movie. She will sit and watch the movie while playing with toys or whatever. She will stop whatever she is doing to sing the songs. Yesterday, during a part where Gabriella and Troy were dancing, Aaron picked up Kendall and started dancing. Today, when it got to that part of the movie, Kendall came running upstairs to find daddy to dance. It was one of those adorable moments you wish you could capture and keep forever.
The other night Aaron was sitting on the couch with Kendall and a play phone. He pretended to call Troy and her face was priceless. She would blush a little bit and then just grin the biggest smile she has ever had thinking that daddy was really talking to Troy. She was too embarrassed to talk herself of course, but smiled so big every time daddy would call.

It really is cute that my little 2-year-old girl loves Troy so much. I am sure someday she might not think it was so cute, but it really is.
