Here are the faces of four kids who love going to Moses Lake! We have had such a fantastic time and had lots of firsts in Moses Lake this year...bike riding without training wheels, Flow riding, wake boarding, and just lots of fun in general.

Sometimes when it was a bit hot outside, we would spend time inside playing cards.
Megan and Kendall just chillin' together.
Kendall got a new Dora scooter this year and loved being able to ride around like the big kids.
Our first trip over, Atwood learned to ride his bike without training wheels. Once he figured it out, he would just ride up and down the rows of motorhomes. He loved his newfound freedom.
and was very proud of himself!
When we went back over the next week to Moses Lake, Megan decided it was more than time to ride without training wheels. And that's exactly what she did.
Playing a little catch with Dilan. Aaron and Dilan kept saying I catch with my eyes closed, but I had sun in my eyes and I was just squinting. I guess it doesn't matter either way 'cause I caught the ball every time!
There is a footbridge that goes from the camp ground across I-90 to a state park. The kids love to go play on the playground and run around in the grass. I was trying to get a really good picture of the four of them, but this is as good as it was going to get.
and of course you have to have a silly picture too!
Aaron and Kendall riding the dinosaur.
Ride 'em Megan(at least that is what they called him)

Because we were in Moses Lake so much, we bought season passes to the Surf 'N Slide waterpark. It is such a great park for us because there is something for everyone to do.
Kendall in mid-flight
and a smooth landing. She is supposed to be giving thumbs up, but evidentally the index finger will have to do.

They have this mushroom looking thing that has water going down all around it. I think it is Megan's favorite thing about the whole park. She will spend hours playing in this silly mushroom.
Atwood going down the slide.
Over by the Flowrider, they have a splash zone type thing. Lots of little spouts for water to come out. It's nice because the kids can play there and we can watch the guys on the Flowrider at the same time.
The park also has a lazy river over by the Flowrider. The kids love just chillin' in the tubes floating in the river.
SherRae, Kendall, and Atwood in the river.

All of us, except Aaron of course who is taking the picture.

Megan loved the river. She loves to go in and out of her tube and just play around.

Here's the take-off...

So, this was the first time I tried the Flowrider. I was REALLY nervous, but knew I would be fine. I am anxiously waiting in line for my turn.
Getting on the board...
Are you kidding me??? This was harder than it looked. I am not sure how much pressure that is shooting against the board, but I had a hard time. Needless to say, I totally bit it hard.
I was bound and determined so I got back in line to give it another shot.
This time I tried the rope and a different board. It made a big difference.
I actually did it (with the help of the rope of course), but hey, I still did it.
Unfortunately, I hadn't quite figured out how to dismount gracefully at this point. I will say that it is so much fun to go on the Flowrider. Yes, I felt like I had been in a car accident with some serious whiplash the next day, but it was totally worth it.
While I was on the Flowrider, Aaron got the kids ice cream. The water park has the best soft serve ice cream. It hits the spot every time you eat it. The only bummer is that it is so hot that it melts quickly and definitely makes a mess. Once again, it is totally worth it!
Aaron, the big stud he is, can totally ride the Flowrider. It is actually pretty cool to watch him. When he and Paul are riding this thing together, they are like two giddy little boys. They will sit and coach anybody who is trying to ride and give them pointers. It is pretty fun to watch him have such a great time.
