My parents, Brian and RaeDell Kilstrom, served a two year mission for our church. They served at the Deseret Cattle and Citrus Farm down in Florida. They had a great mission, but were excited to get back and see the grandkids they hadn't seen for what seemed like forever. There were three granddaughter born while they were gone and two additions to our family when my brother Derek got married this past year so it was exciting for them to get home to see everyone.
So here are the kids anxiously awaiting the time when Grandma and Grandpa will be home. They were all so incredibly hyper, but I told them all to just sit and look out the window until they saw their car pull up. And they pretty much did just that.
It was such a funny site from the backside so I went outside to see what the picture looked like from the outside looking in.
Here is the great Uncle Derek playing with the little ones. He has a special way with all the babies. They love to be around him andhe plays so cute with them.
And finally, after a very long wait...
They're back!
Megan did not leave grandma's side the whole night. I think she was afraid that if she let go, they might leave again or something.
This is Kendall in green and Brooklyn in blue. Brooklyn is six weeks older than Kendall and evidentally being that much older makes her very motherly towards Kendall. It is really cute now when Kendall sees Brooklyn she puts her arms out to go towards her.
Here are all of the kids eating dinner before Grandma and Grandpa get home. There are actually 9 more grandkids that are not in this picture. 3 of those 9 were not there that night because they live in Utah...We miss you Rachel, Trent, and Travis!
